We live on a ten acres. We have built outside runs for the daytime
and during cold weather have converted our garage into a kennel where the dogs are crated at night with heaters to keep them
comfortable. We have a fenced play area and 6 of our dogs actually live in the house with us. All our females whelp inside
the house and they and the puppies stay in until they are at least 6 weeks old. This page will have pictures of the areas
our dogs spend time in so you can see, they are well cared for.
Our runs are 4' wide by 12' long on concrete for easy cleaning,
with welded wire panels between each run. The concrete is slightly slopped for easy run off into a gutter. The entire kennel
is fenced and the 6' area between the runs and outer fence is filled with pea gravel for easy sanitizing. Each run is
entirely covered with a roof for protection from the elements as well as flying predators.
